UNIMI is one of the main Italian public Universities involving 33 Departments, 53 Research Centers and more than 600 active International Agreements. UNIMI is able to provide the structural, financial, and administrative support to the coordinator and its unit member for efficiently coordinating all activities of GreenDriedFruits as well as for guaranteeing effective communication among all partners and their national institutions for the whole duration of the project.

Prof. Alessandro Banterle
Prof. Alessandro Banterle (PI) is Full Professor at the University of Milan. After being vice-Head of the Dept. Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods, he became Head of the Department of Environmental Science and Policy of the University of Milan. These roles consolidated and improved his coordinating and managerial capabilities. He is Professor of Agri-food Economics and Policy and member of the PhD Doctoral Committee in Economics. He was founder and Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal Agricultural and Food Economics, published by Springer. He was member of the International Jury for the ‘EXPO Awards’ of EXPO Milano 2015.
Elisa De Marchi
Elisa De Marchi is assistant professor and at the Department of Environmental Science and Policy at the University of Milan. She has expertise in behavioral and experimental economics applied to the analysis of consumer food choices (i.e., preferences for different types of product attributes, preferences and effectiveness of food labels, role of individual characteristics and socio-demographic and economic factors in food choices, etc.). During her Phd she has been visiting scholar at the University of Arkansas and at the Korea University. She was also post-doc visiting researcher at the Michigan State University. She is currently involved in several national and international research project and she authored/co-authored more than 20 scientific publications with more than 560 citations.
