Prof. Luisa Menapace

Prof. Luisa Menapace (PI) is tenured professor at the Technical University of Munich and leader of the chair group “Governance in International Agribusiness”. Prof. Menapace has a double affiliation to the TUM School of Management and the TUM School of Life Sciences and is member of the World Agricultural Systems Center and Hans Eisenmann-Forum for Agricultural Sciences. Her research focuses on the economics of agri-food systems. Her expertise covers issues pertaining to the analysis of agri-food value chains and agribusiness and their sustainability. She has investigated farmers’ and firms’ perceptions, barriers, and motivations to adopt novel and sustainable technologies as well as and consumers’ preferences for foods.
