Green Storage is a private dynamic entity specialized in development and marketing of advanced green post-harvest technologies based on user friendly scientific methods for quality preservation. GS has developed the use of hermetic and modified atmosphere storage of peanuts to prevent Free Fatty Acid (FFA), and aflatoxin formation along with the application of Hermetic Storage to Protect Cocoa Beans by Preventing FFA Formation. Thermal disinfestation technology was found as a suitable alternative technology to methyl bromide in all biological, environmental, and financial aspects and has been adopted by the Israeli Environmental Protection Ministry since 2010 in accordance with Montreal protocol. GS holds the knowledge for developing such technology based on its experience.

Hagit Navarro (PI) is a pest management specialist with broad, hands-on, experience in General management, R&D, planning and operation of pest control and commodity protection technologies. Biology and technology based, pest management of food and feed products including advanced storage technologies. She is Israeli EPA qualified pest controller and pest management and fumigation technologies pest controllers’ instructor. Sha was PhD student at Murdoch University, West Australia in the field of Food safety.
